The invention relates to spectrometry instruments. The spectometer analyzer, which is the subject of the invention, includes an electron gun 1 producing an ionising electron beam 2 which, on passing through an injection path 3 made in the hyperboloidal annular electrode 5 of a sensor 4 of selected ions, arrives in the working volume of this sensor 4. According to the invention, the path 3 is made in the form of a slot 3 extending along a hyperbola generatrix 9 of the electrode 5 and lying in immediate proximity to the vertex O of this hyperbola generatrix 9. The analyzer can be used in space research. <IMAGE>
