Measurement arrangement for edges of piece of wood

Images of the edge pairs (K1,K3;K2,K4) of the piece of wood are formed at different angles to the illuminated flat side of the wood and from the same side from which the wood is illuminated for the edge pair. The four edges (K1-K4) are measured simultaneously and for each pair of edges in different planes along the transport direction. Alternatively the measurements take plae in the same place but the pairs are each measured at different times. The angle between the illuminated side (1a) and the central axes (3a,4a) of the incident light beams is more acute than that between the illuminated side and the observation axes(11,12).
