PURPOSE:To obviate such a risk that a table will be folded unexpectedly when a passenger strikes it inadvertently, by allowing the table to be folded by folding a folding arm. CONSTITUTION:When it is required that a movable table 3 is folded to a fixed table 1, an operation lever 30 is pulled forward by one's hand, and with the forward end of the movable table 3 being held by the hand, it is requied only to rotate the table 3 downward. As a result, an engaging click 27 of a lock arm 25 is pushed down by a cam plate 33 of a lever 30 against the upward resilient pressure of a spring hinge 29 so that the engaging click 27 is disengaged from an engaging hole 28, the upper end of the lock arm 25 is passed through the engaging hole 28 to be slid forward, and in conjunction with this, a folding arm 19 is folded into its folded state at which the table is not used. |
