PURPOSE:To avoid uneven control of signal levels and at the same time to simplify the constitution of a titled circuit by controlling each input signal level in response to the highest level of the input signal. CONSTITUTION:For an automatic level control circuit 2, plural amplifiers 21-2N are set in response to >=2 channels and a common peak wave detecting circuit 8 is set at the output sides of the amplifiers 21-2N, respectively. The output of the circuit 8 controls an electronic volume circuit 12 connected to the input sides of amplifiers 21-2N, respectively. Then the circuit 8 detects the input signal having the highest level among the outputs of amplifiers 21-2N. Then the circuits 12 connected to amplifiers 21-2N are controlled in common with each other on the basis of the highest input signal level. |
