The effect is achieved by surrounding the audience with scaffolding to which are attached a large number (up to 120) of loudspeakers with their associated amplifiers. - The array is an oval arrangement of ascending, descending and combinatorial spirals, with which one or more players obtain the effect of spatial movement by manipulation of a collection of faders in the form of manual potentiometers set out in rows of 10 and 12 units.
