PURPOSE:To perform the positioning of a spherical body with high accuracy by holding the spherical body with is fixed center position and without reholding it and revolving continuously or stopping the spherical body at a high speed while controlling freely the shift of the spherical body in an optional direction. CONSTITUTION:The drive of a plate 1 is controlled by a controller (not shown in the figure) and can be freely shifted and stopped in a prescribed planar direction. A holding means 4 holds rotatably a spherical body 2 with a fixed center position of the body 2 and at the same time puts the body 2 close to or way from the plate 1. Thus the body 2 is revolved and stopped in an optional direction in accordance with the shift of the plate 1. A detecting means 17 detects the revolving position of the body 2 and delivers a signal to the controller to stop the drive of the plate 1. |
