PURPOSE:To ensure a high-speed shift for the greater part of distance and therefore accelerate the work positioning by several times by combining both high- speed and low-speed shift operation when a next adjacent work is positioned after a work is positioned. CONSTITUTION:When the next adjacent work is positioned after a work is positioned, the shift direction of the next work is decided by the positioning procedure. The shift length of the work is set at (W+l), where W means the size of a semiconductor pellet, i.e., a work and (l) means the space of work array. No monitor of a photosensor is needed for the shift of the distance W nor a sudden stop is required in the middle of the distance. Therefore the work is shifted during the distance W at the highest speed that is possible with the capacity of a pulse motor. Then the speed is reduced in the section of the next distance (l) so that a sensing operation is possible. |
