PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a special pair of spectacles, etc., and view a stereoscopic picture by providing an optical member (for recording two right and left shifted pictures on a film) which uses a prism and a reflecting mirror in front of a camera lens to project a resulting picture on a special screen. CONSTITUTION:The invented device is the part with a number 5 in a figure and consists of a mirror 7 and a both-surface mirror 8 which rotates. Incident light from protection lenses 6 and 9 reaches a film 11 or an image pickup tube through the mirror 7 rotating both-surface mirror 8 to obtain a left-eye and a right-eye picture alternately. This film is projected on a special screen by attaching said device 5 in front of a projector. A lens 19 is provided on the surface of the screen to project the left-eye image 21 and right-eye image 22 in a lattice shape. An observer views the right-eye image 22 by the right eye and the left- eye image 21 by the left eye because of the lens 19 on the screen, so the stereoscopic image is seen. |
