PURPOSE:To obtain an organic electroconductive material having excellent electrical conductivity, stability to oxygen and moisture and good moldability, by rapidly modifying a butadiynyl copper-coordinated high-molecular compound by application of an external stimulus. CONSTITUTION:A butadiynyl copper-coordinated high-molecular compound having a basic unit of a structure of H-CidenticalC-CidenticalC-Cu is rapidly modified by application of an external stimulus. Said rapid modification occurs instantaneously and explosively when the compound is stimulated by, for example, hitting the compound in a solid state with a metallic rod, instantaneously applying a high pressure, heating the compound in part in a vessel, or discharging near the solid, in an atmosphere of air, vacuum, or inert gas. The obtained organic electroconductive material has a high electric conductivity (2S/cm) and it is also possible to increase its electrical conductivity by adding a dopant thereto.
