The invention relates to a motor with a pressurised liquid for controlling a machine which consumes such a liquid. It is characterised in that, between the output shaft of the motor and the control shaft of the machine, there is interposed a device 65 comprising a shaft 66 rotationally moved by the motor and means 67 to 81 which, as soon as this shaft revolves at a certain speed, short-circuit the liquid supply to the motor and disengage it so that, solely using the inertia acquired by the components which it was driving, these may freely continue their movement and which, as soon as this shaft 66 revolves at an insufficient speed, supply a liquid to the motor again and re-engage it.
