PURPOSE:To remove ice adhesion efficiently and quickly, by directly heating a window glass, frost and ice by a radiation energy of infrared rays. CONSTITUTION:When ice 7 is adhered on a window glass 6, a lid 5a on a dashboard 5 is opened and a switch is turned ON. Then a motor 4 is rotated to rotate a heat generating body 1 and at the same time the heat generating body 1 heats up to produce infrared rays. Though the infrared rays are absorbed a little into the window glass 6, major part thereof is absorbed into the ice 7. As a result, the ice 7 on the window glass 6 begins to melt at the boundary 7 therebetween. Thereafter, when a wiper is actuated, the ice 7 can be easily removed. |
