PURPOSE:To obtain an effective and economical solar pond, by a method wherein a box form body formed of metallic plates and provided with heat-exchanging fins on the inside and outside surfaces thereof is placed at a bottom part of a water tank, and the content of the water tank above the box form body is gelled by a gelling agent. CONSTITUTION:The box form body formed of the metallic plates and provided with the fins 10 on the inside and outside surfaces thereof s placed at a bottom part of the water tank as a heat exchanger, and the content of the water tank 11 above the box form body is gelled by a gelling agent. The upper surface of the box form body and the fins 10 are colored in black. Since convection is restricted by gelling an aqueous phase, escape of heat from the pond is restricted, and solar heat can be accumulated efficiently. The interior of the box form body is partitioned by partitioned by partition plates 14 to form passages, the heat accumulated in the pond is transferred through the fins 10 and the box form body to a working fluid 13 flowing in the interior of the box form body, and is taken out from the pond. Accordingly, an effective and economical solar pond can be obtained. |
