PURPOSE:To lessen reduction in the sensitivity of a medium sensitivity layer covering a practically important density range due to optical loss and delayed development by forming the medium sensitivity layer as the uppermost layer. CONSTITUTION:When emulsion layers having different sensitivities are formed on a support to manufacture a photographic element, an emulsion layer 1 having the 2nd high sensitivity is positioned farthest from the support. An emulsion layer 2 having the highest sensitivity is positioned closer to the support than the layer 1. Emulsion layers 3, 4 having the 3rd and the 4th sensitivities are not positioned between the layers 2, 1. |
