PURPOSE:To enable printing with high density and favorable sharpness to be conducted even on a recording medium having poor surface smoothness, by incorporating a liquid rubber, a specified rigid resin and a specified wax into a heat-fusible ink. CONSTITUTION:The heat-fusible ink provided on a base comprises a liquid rubber, a rigid resin and a wax as essential constituents. The liquid rubber is a known substance which is liquid at normal temperature, and at least one such rubber is used either singly or in combination, the amount of which is preferably 3-30% based on the total amount of the ink. The rigid resin has a softening point (measured by the ring and ball method) or melting point of 50-130 deg.C, a melt viscosity at 150 deg.C of 10<2>-10<5>cP and an elongation at break at normal temperature of not more than 20%. At least one such rigid resin is used either singly or in combination, the amount of which is preferably 3-30% based on the total amount of the ink. The wax has a melt viscosity at 150 deg.C or less than 100cP, and is used in an amount of 50% based on the total amount of the ink. |
