PURPOSE:To obtain color image of high transfer density and excellent color tone by allowing a pigment to be transferred into a heat melting substance, the maximum absorbable aave length of the pigment to be shifted and/or changing the absorbed wave form and forming a color image on a recording sheet of common paper, etc. transferred with the heat melting substance. CONSTITUTION:A heat displacing pigment is spread over a supporting body 1 to form a color material layer 2, a heat melting transfer recording layer 3 is formed by coating on said layer color tone controlling agent, heat melting substance and if necessary, other additive materials. The constructed layer surface of the heat-sensitive transfer recording medium and a recording sheet 4 of common paper are laminated and when energy is supplied from the supporting body side 1 by a heat recording apparatus 5, the heat melting transfer layer 3 with the color tone controlling agent, etc. are transferred to the recording sheet 4 together with the heat melting substance. From the color material layer 2, pigment is transferred depending on the energy quantity and after contacting and mixing or melting with the colortone controlling agent, the maximum absorbable wave length of pigment is shifted and/or absorbed waveform is changed. Thus, on the common paper sheet, etc., the image 7 by pigment provided with improved color tone is obtained with high transfer intensity. |
