The invention relates to a control switch for a handbrake indicator light. This switch includes, in combination, an outer casing 2, a first and second contact 11, 20 mounted on this casing and a first and second terminal 15, 19 connected respectively to the first and second contacts, the first contact 11 being connected to the casing 2 by way of flush-mounted fixing means and clip fastening means and the second contact 20 being movable, under the thrust of elastic means, relative to the casing 2 and towards the first contact, and an actuation arm being connected integrally to the second contact and emerging from the casing to cooperate with a lever of the handbrake 23.
