PURPOSE:To attain effective use of a memory card at memory expansion by reversing the order of bank assignment of the 1st packaging location from the normal case. CONSTITUTION:The inside of memory cards 20-50 is provided with a card selecting decoder circuit 21 to generate a card selecting signal on a card selecting signal line 22, the 1st-4th bank arrays 24-27, and a bank array selecting circuit 23 selecting one array among the 1st-4th bank arrays 24-27 at the inside of the card. The polarity of the low-order 2-bit of the bank selecting signal is inverted to that of the other location in the 1st packaging location 101. Further, 4-bit indicating the bank is superimposed on a signal line 11 and any of the 1st-4th memory cards 20-50 is selected depending on the signal state of 2<18>, 2<19>. Further, one of the 1st-4th bank arrays 24-27 of the 2nd-4th memory cards 30-50 is seleced depending on the signal state of 2<16>, 2<17>. The selecting method of the bank array of the memory card 20 is different from the others. |
