IMPROVEMENT OF ACCURACY IN SHAPE DETECTION

PURPOSE:To improve detection accuracy in the stage of detecting the three- dimensional shape of a soldered part by a light cutting method by coating a matting agent on the surface of the part to be detected or adding a specific metal to the solder to eliminate the luster. CONSTITUTION:A matting agent is coated on the surface of solder 3 or Ag, Cd or the like is added into the solder and such solder is used to make the surface of the solder 3 non-lustrous in the case of judging whether a micro-soldered joint is satisfactorily connected or not by a light cutting method. If slight light 6 is projected from a slit light projector 5 onto such solder 3, the reflected light is uniformly distributed 9 in the entire direction owing to lack of the luster and the reflected light 11 to a detector 7 is larger than the case in which there is luster. The detected image is thus stabilized and the reliability of the detection rate in a deciding part 8 is improved.
