摘要 PURPOSE:To join iron and copper to high quality by using an inexpensive brazing filler metal without requiring the operator's skill by providing the brazing filler metal between the iron and the copper and a heating plate having high electrical resistance between the copper and an electrode and heating and press welding the iron and copper in a short time with a resistance welding machine. CONSTITUTION:Foil of a copper-phosphorus alloy is sandwiched as a brazing filler metal 3 between, for example, an iron plate 1 and a copper plate 2 in the stage of joining the plates 1, 2. A heating plate 5 having high electrical resistance is attached between the plate 2 and a lower electrode 4 and an upper electrode 6 of an ordinary copper material is provided on the plate 1. The plates 1, 2 are pressurized by both electrodes 4, 6 of a resistance welding machine and electricity is conducted to the electrodes 4, 6 to heat and press weld the joint surfaces by the heate generated by the plate 5 and the heat generated by the resistance of the material 3. If the plate 5 and the press welding conditions are set, the always specified joint part is mechanically obtd. according to this method.
