PURPOSE:To check the lowering of the printing quality with a higher reliability by a method wherein an ink is supplied from an ink fountain and a tubulet provided with numerous through holes axially extending is moved onto a recording medium to form a dot thereon. CONSTITUTION:When a coil 5 of an ink transfer mechanism is energized electrically, an armature 3 is attracted on to a yoke 4 to move a tubulet 1 to a printing medium 10 through a collor 2 engaged with the armature 3. As the tip 1' of the tubulet 1 gets in contact with the printing medium 10, an ink 8 previously introduced due to a capillary phenomenon is transferred onto the recording medium 10 to form a dot in the shape approximate to the outer diameter of the tubulet 1. On the other hand, when the energization of the coil 5 is stopped, the armature 3 is returned to the initial position with a return spring 9 and thus, the collor 2 and the tubulet 1 are put back to the original position. |
