Basic polyazo compounds containing sulphonic acid groups, of the formula <IMAGE> in which the symbols have the meanings given in Claim 1, and a process for the preparation of these compounds which comprises a double coupling to H acid; the compounds are used for the dyeing of paper, leather, bast fibres and textiles.
