UN-COILING METHOD OF COILED MATERIAL AND UN-COILER

PURPOSE:To un-coil a coiled material in a stable state with the outside surface side faced upward by forming a loop which is sagged downward on the outermost circumference of the coiled material, and extending and taking out the top end thereof beyond the upper part of the coil. CONSTITUTION:The outermost circumference of a coiled material 12 which is mounted on a mandrel reel 1 is sagged downward in a way as to form a loop 12a. The part 12b of the top end thereof on the end side for taking out is placed on a guiding roller 17 of a loop guide 14 set in the position spaced from the outside circumferential surface of the material 12 and is extended beyond the material 12. The extended part is held down by a loop holding-down roller 18 to maintain the loop 12a. The top end part is further passed through a transverse guide 29 and is conducted to a leveler feed L. When the reel 11 is rotated in this state, the material 12 is un-coiled in the stable state and is supplied to a press line.
