PURPOSE:To increase the lifetime of an underwater motor by providing a sandproof cover on a motor shaft, and forming a groove on the upper end surface of an upper bracket, thereby preventing sand from accumulating on the upper end surface of the bracket. CONSTITUTION:A groove 20 is formed on the outer periphery of an upper bracket 2 from the vicinity of the outer periphery of a collar portion 7a of a sandproof collar 7. The groove 20 is inclined downward toward the outer periphery, and forms a through hole in the state that a flange of a suction frame is bonded to the bracket 2. Sand in the space among the flange of the frame, the upper end of the bracket 2 and the collar portion 7a of the collar 7 is flowed out from the groove 20 to the outer periphery of the bracket 2. |
