PURPOSE:To manufacture a rubber product with a slide part low in the long- time slide resistance without lowering the physical property by a method wherein a rubber material is blended with a short fiber to be formed to a specified shape and then, a processing is done to expose the short fiber to a portion intended to form a slide part. CONSTITUTION:A rubber material such as FPDM and CR is blended with a short fiber about 1mm. long such as cellulose, nylon or polyester based ones to an extent of about 15-50PHR. Then, this blend undergoes an extrusion molding, a compression molding or the like to form a wiper blade material 10 with a specified shape comprising two wiper blades 1 and 2 with parts intended to form slide parts 1a and 2a, for example, connected together. Thereafter, after the vulcanization, the parts intended to form the slide parts 1a and 2a are cut off with a cutter 4 to produce wiper blades 1 and 2. Here, numerous short fibers 3 are exposed on the surface of the slide parts 1a and 2a. |
