An operating panel for panel-sawing machines is proposed which is guided on a rectilinear guide of a supporting frame above a work-supporting table, arranged in front of a sawing device, in such a way that it can be adjusted horizontally and perpendicularly to the cutting plane of the sawing device. Even when working panels of large area, this arrangement of the operating panel permits good accessibility to the push buttons and keyboards for the dimensional inputs of the operating panel as well as a favourable adjustment of the same in any desired relative position to the cutting plane.
