Self-starting, reversible small synchronous motor

The small synchronous motor has a rotor (4) consisting of highly energetic magnetic material and, in the event of a pull-out load and a rated supply voltage, the resistance (R) of each stator winding strand (2, 3) is at most equal to 80% of its inductive reactance (X). The small synchronous motor is dimensioned such that the efficiency ( eta ) increases continuously with increasing excitation and the angular speed fluctuations (S) are virtually zero in the event of a pull-out load.
