PURPOSE:To simply prevent abrasion and deformation of a turn stopping part by installing a protecting member which covers the turn stopping part which contacts with the kick boss of a crank body and fitting said protecting member onto the shaft part of the kick boss and turning said protecting member integrally with the crank body. CONSTITUTION:On starting an engine, if a crank body 3 is turned clockwise, having the shaft part 5a of a kick boss 5 as a fulcrum 01, the left side of the turn stopping part 3c of the crank body 3 contacts with an engagement part 5c which crosses at right angles to a kick shaft 2 through the starting-up part 16a of a protecting member 16. The stepping part 3a of the crank body 3 projects to the side of a chassis, and when said stepping part is stepped down, the kick shaft 2 turns and the engine starts. Since the turn stopping part 3c is protected by the protecting member 16, said turn stopping part 3c is not directly attached onto the kick boss 5, and the force acting onto the turn stopping part is transmitted, distributed by the protecting member 16. Therefore, the abrasion and deformation of the turn stopping part 3c can be reduced. |
