PURPOSE:To replace the tool magazine of a machine tool of column moving type easily and quickly by furnishing each of No.1 and No.2 tool magazine stations with a guide rail with the guide rail for tool magazines. CONSTITUTION:Each tool magazine 10 has the form of a disc and is supported by a guide body 11 rotatably. This guide body 11 has a pair of guide surfaces 13, each stretching linearly. The lower part of each guide surface is in engagement with a guide rail 5 of a column 1 through a guide roller 13b. The column 1 can move to the position to mate with No.1 or No.2 tool magazine station 6, 7, and said guide rail 5 mates with the guide rails 6a, 7a of each station. Thereby the tool magazine 10 can be replaced between magazine stations with the machine tool interposed. |
