(3,4-dimethoxy-phenyl)-3-amino-propyl!-6,7-dimethoxy-isoquinoline derivative(1) was prepared from 1-[1-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-3-oxo- propyl -6,7-dimethoxy-isoquinoline(2) using condensation with a compd. of formula HNR1R2 in a polar solvent under 0-25≦̸C, where R1 = hydrogen atom or methyl gp.; and R2 = C1 -C5 alkyl gp., C5 - C7 cycloalkyl gp., hydroxy gp., alkyl or cycloalkyl gp. substituted with phenyl or phenoxy gp., or cycloalkyl gp. substituted randomly with C1 - C5 alkyl gp.
