A transport channel for bundles of curled filaments, whose cross- sections substantially correspond to the cross-section of the output opening of the compressive curling chamber, comprises a floor and side walls; guiding elements are mounted or the inside of the side walls, reducing the internal width of the transport channel and thereby retarding the cable bundle by slight piling up.
