In a mobile soil-working appliance having a front driven wheel axle (14) and a rear controlled wheel axle (23), the driving axle (14) is mounted on one side on a vertical bearing arm (12) connected to the chassis and carries a drawing roller (16) formed from a plurality of identical, parallel, coupled agricultural tyres (15). This arrangement affords free access to the drawing roller (16) on one side of the driving axle (14), so that a rolling band can be pushed over the drawing roller (16) from there. The appliance can thus be converted for different intended uses, for example for drawing cross-country ski-run tracks in the snow or for rolling tennis courts. <IMAGE>
