Clamping apparatus

The invention relates to a clamping apparatus consisting of an upper and a lower part, for flat and, within certain limits, flexible articles such as films, textiles or paper. It is so designed, in two parts, that an upper part can be tilted relative to a lower part into the clamping position and out of the latter, clamping parts being provided on one side and fixing devices, such that the clamping apparatus is fixed in both positions, being provided on the other side. The upper part is preferably designed as a shallow spherical shell which covers the lower part in both positions.
