PICTURE DATA PROCESSING METHOD

摘要

PURPOSE:To attain high speed processing by forming and coding three kinds of data as a curve specifying data, a gradation increase/decrease data and a gradation initial data from a density data so as to prevent the amount of data from being increased extremely. CONSTITUTION:A two-dimensional picture having a density is represented by a density data on a two-dimensional coordinate. The entire density areas are divided into n-set of gradations and a curve data corresponding to the gradation is obtained. A segment data as to each segment is calculated based on this curve data. A picture is specified by three kinds of data as the gradation increase/ decrease data relating to a couple of adjacent gradations via each segment, the curve specifying data comprising the calculated segment data group and the gradation initial data corresponding to predetermined curve gradation and the original two-dimensional picture is reproduced based on the picture specifying data.
