PURPOSE:To provide a small-sized and easily usable pipe bender by constituting the same in such a way that a pipe to be bent supported by a holder is sandwiched between two half split type stationary blocks and a movable block is tilted so as not to slide with the pipe thereby bending the pipe. CONSTITUTION:A pipe bender is constituted of a stand 1, a holder 3 which holds horizontally a pipe P to be bent, a half split type stationary block 12 having a semicircular groove 13 coinciding with the pipe P, a half split stationary block 16 similarly having a semicircular groove 13' coinciding with the pipe P, a shoe 18 having sliding surfaces 19, 19' coinciding with the guiding surfaces 15, 15' on the rear side thereof to sandwich both blocks 12, 16 and a driving device which slides the shoe 18. The two blocks 12, 16 have rack teeth 14, 14' along the grooves 13, 13'. The pipe P supported by the holder 3 is thereupon held between the two blocks 12 and 16 and a movable block 16 is tilted according to the intermeshing of the rack teeth 14, 14' driven by the shoe 18, by which the pipe is bent along the stationary block 12. |
