PURPOSE:The titled locater made possible to simply, easily and exactly locate the spindle coupling, by installing a specified guide through a link mechanism in the arm fixed to a position of a specified height on the roll coupling side. CONSTITUTION:At interchanging the roll, the roll 1 is separated from the roll coupling 13; and the spindle 12 is supported by the roller 15 through the cylinder 17 and the frame 16, on the upper spindle side; and the roll coupling 13 is held at a specified position from upside by the guides 25, 26, through the cylinder 22, links 19, 20, and the link plate 21. On the other hand, on the lower spindle side, the spindle 12A and the roll coupling 13A are similarly supported by the guides 25A, 26A. Next, the rolls 1, 1A, are pulled out in the axial direction; if the cylinder 22 is moved downward after a new roll is built in, the spindle 12 and the roll coupling 13 are moved down by the guides 25, 26, and at the same time, the guide 28 fixed to the link plate 21 also goes down finally touching the upper surface of the arm 24; hereby, the location of the spindle coupling is finished. |
