PURPOSE:To reduce the crosstalk of magnetic flux between a reproduction and a tunnel erasure side by combining a magnetic head part for recording and reproducing and an erasing head part with each other, and bringing the erasing head part into contact with a magnetic recording medium at its gap for erasure. CONSTITUTION:The erasing head part 12 consists of a ring head part 12a and a nonmagnetic material part 12b. The head part 12a forms a magnetic path by magnetic cores 13 and 14 and is provided with head gaps 15a and 15b for tunnel erasure. Then, U-shaped grooves 26 and 27 are formed in the block of the erasing head part 12 in order to provide tracks to two ferrite blocks 24 and 25. Those ferrite blocks 24 and 25 are connected by fusion with glass 25a to, for example, an about 0.3-1mum gap length, and a nonmagnetic block 30 having a winding groove 29 is joined thereto in specific position relation. Thus, leak magnetic flux on the tunnel erasure side is reduced, so the crosstalk of magnetic flux is reduced. |
