Electrical components (e.g. a radio, associated speakers 12, a battery pack and adaptor) are supported and electrically interconnected by a band 10 having spaced conductors 16 enclosed within insulation members 20-24. The band has openings 34 on one surface through which the components make electrical contact with conductors 16 via prongs 62 against which the band is urged by a pivoted arm 50 attached to a spring 54. The band may be worn around the user's waist and fastened by a clasp 74, 114 having a fastening portion 130 provided with protuberances 134 which engage protuberances on a spring-loaded pin on base 114, and a hook member 128 which fits over a bar on base 114 to provide a safety latch. <IMAGE> |
