PURPOSE:To realize a long life of a head by comparing a tape revolving speed of each message position written in a tape read out of a storage means, and a tape revolving speed counting value, and selecting a message. CONSTITUTION:A selecting signal is converted to an address by a parallel-series converting circuit 1, an ROM2 is brought to access, and a tape revolving speed of a selected message position written in a tape is read out. This read-out tape revolving speed and a tape revolving speed counted by a tape counter 3 are compared by a comparator 4. Also, a designated message on the tape is selected by a coincidence output from the comparator 4. According to this constitution, it is unnecessary to provide an unrecorded part at every message on the tape, to detect it by a magnetic head and to count it, the message is selected without using the magnetic head, and a long life of the magnetic head is realized. |
