PURPOSE:To improve the hitting rate of the content of carbon in a molten steel at the end point of blowing by determining the required amt. of oxygen in the entire period from the various sets of information in accordance with a control model and steel kind, performing blowing, determining the required amt. of oxygen at the end period from a measurement with a sublance and performing blowing. CONSTITUTION:Parameters are determined by the operating factors of the preceding same steel kind in composition blowing in a converter. The required amt. of oxygen in the entire period is calculated in accordance with such control model, the information of raw material, the target content of carbon at the end point of blowing, the intended amt. of the flux to be charged, the flow rate of gaseous O2 to be top blown at the end period of blowing, the flow rate of bottom blowing gas and the height of a lane, and blowing is performanced at said amt. The point of the time for measuring with a sublance is then determined and the measurement with the sublance is carried out. The required amt. of oxygen from the point of the time when the measurement with the sublance is made up to the end point of blowing is calculated in accordance with the information in said measurement, the target content of carbon, the weight of the flux charged till the end point of blowing, etc. The blowing to the end point is performed in accordance with said value. |
