The present invention provides: a battery module wherein installation and electrical connection of a plurality of cells can be easily and reliably carried out, and which thus enables quick start of power generation; and a power generation system which uses this battery module. A battery module according to the present invention is provided with: a case that has an opening; a cover member that closes the opening; and a plurality of cells that are contained in the case. Each one of the plurality of cells comprises a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and additionally comprises a positive electrode output terminal that is electrically connected to the positive electrode and a negative electrode output terminal that is electrically connected to the negative electrode at positions where the output terminals face the cover member. The cover member comprises a plurality of positive electrode input terminals that are in contact with the positive electrode output terminal and a plurality of negative electrode input terminals that are in contact with the negative electrode output terminal, and additionally comprises a wiring part that electrically connects the plurality of positive electrode input terminals and the plurality of negative electrode input terminals with each other. |
