PURPOSE:To inspect not only a directory but also comparator by a few hardwares by inputting an inspection data written in the directory to the comparator to which the same inspection data is given in advance, and deciding the coincidence and dissidence of the inspection data. CONSTITUTION:An inspection data written in each block of a directory 3 is read out, and applied to comparators 4-0-4-3 to which the same data as an inspection data written from a register 1 is given in advance. Subsequently, coincidence and dissidence signals of each block are outputted from the comparators 4-0-4-3, sent to a CPU, and in accordance with the coincidence and dissidence, whether each block of the directory is good or not is decided. Accordingly, it is unnecessary that the CPU decides the inspection data read out of the directory, by a program, and an inspection of the directory is executed by a few hardwares. Also, by giving a specified data to the comparators 4-0-4-3 from the register 1, an inspection of the comparator can also be executed in the same way. |
