PURPOSE:To simplify key operation and to attain the confirmation of operation by a display means and therefore to perform the key input operation with no error, by providing a guide display area to display the key input procedure. CONSTITUTION:A display means 5 contains an area 21 to store the contents of each registration and a guide display area 22 to display a key input means. The reference codes 24-26 of the area 22 show the shift positions of a cursor. For instance, a display DP3 is shown for a department key 8 which shows the 3rd department of articles. Then ''10'' is fed with a ten-key 7, and a discounting operation is possible with a discount key 13. When the correction is desired, a cursor shift key 14 is operated to stop the cursor at a position shown by the code 25. Then a correction key 11 is operated to give the correction to both the numerical value ''10'' and discounting 13. In such a way, the key input operations are simplified with addition of the area 22. |
