PURPOSE:To improve a measurable limit by using digital and analog information obtained by hot wires at the detection of the quantity of suction of an engine by a hot wire type Karman's flow meter. CONSTITUTION:The hot wire type Karman's flow meter 4 is arranged in an air cleaner 3 fitted to the end part of the atmospheric side of a suction course 1 of an engine E. The flow meter 4 is provided with Karman's vortex generating members 4c, 4d formed on the suction course 1 in the air cleaner 3 and a pair of hot wires 4a, 4b formed at the parts lower than the members 4c, 4d. The measuring means DM receives analog information Sa and digital information Sd from the hot wires 4a, 4b and stores compensated information based upon the difference of these pieces of information in a storage means 14. A CPU15 in the measuring means DM compensates the analog output of the hot wire by compensation information and calculates the proper intake quantity of the engine. |
