PURPOSE:To attain efficient control of operation which contributes to maintenance and operation program by providing a loading information memory circuit which stores the information on the loaded date. CONSTITUTION:A disk cartridge 1 is loaded to a loading part 3. An identifier information reading circuit 5 reads the identifier information and sends it to a loading information synthesizing circuit 12. The loading data information is sent to the circuit 12 when the synchronization is obtained between the usable signal sent from a usable signal generating circuit 10 and the loading date information of a calendar timepiece 6. The loading information synthesized by the circuit 12 is stored in a loading information memory circuit 13. The information is stored and integrated every time the storage medium is loaded. Such loading information is delivered after transmitting the signal to a command/data analyzing circuit 14 by means of a switch 7a of a medium loading information output device 7. The circuit 14 outputs the loading information stored and integrated in the circuit 13 to the device 7. In addition, an access is possible also from the host CPU side for the loading information.
