PURPOSE:To obtain a unit of good uniformity having white color uniformity and preventing light and shade stripes of brilliancy by specifying composition and optical characteristics of face plate glass and stripe construction. CONSTITUTION:As for face plate glass, more than one kind among neodymium oxide, praseodymium oxide and chromium oxide are contained, together with using the one having visual light transfer rate at a wave length of 546nm in case of its thickness being 10.16mm. to be 55-80%, repeating lateral directional pitch of striped shape phsophorous surface is made 0.30-0.55mm.. Accordingly, the interference of primary light with reflected light at an exposure time of a register film is prevented, and a color cathode-ray tube of good white color uniformity can be obtained. |
