<p>Mixt. of radioactive waste (I) as satd. slurry in water, a resin, and a monomer is prepd. so as to form an emulsion from water in the slurry then a hydraulic binder is added to form a concrete. Emulsions are described in US4115336 and 42049PP, Au 513486 and 515778. Pref. resin is a polester, partic. unsatd. Monomer is unsatd. Hydraulic binder reacts hydraulically with water, partic. chalk, cement, or pozzuolana. Emulsion also contains stabiliser.</p> |
