Disclosed is a foot-operated private vehicle, the vehicle including a chassis that extends heightwise along a vertical axis, the vehicle also including a front set of wheels mounted at the front of this chassis, a rear set of wheels mounted at the rear of this chassis, and a unit for controlling the speed and direction of the vehicle, taking the form of a right-hand pedal and a left-hand pedal, the private vehicle being characterized in that at least one pedal, known as the steering pedal, is mounted in a rotatable manner with respect to the chassis about a pivot axis parallel to the vertical axis of the chassis of the vehicle, a rotation of this steering pedal about its pivot axis being used to control the direction of the vehicle. |
