PURPOSE:To provide coils having a high magnetic flux density in continuous annealing for the coils by providing a prescribed temp. gradient in the transverse direction of the coils and heating the coils. CONSTITUTION:A continuous annealing furnace A for coils anneals the coils F which are to be annealed and are disposed apart from each other on a hearth 2 by moving the furnace body. A hollow inner cover 3 is put on each coil F and an inside heat cover G which is freely liftable by a lifting device 10 and is provided with a heater 7 for heating the cover 3 from the inside in the upper part thereof is provided in the hollow part of the cover 3. A control body 8 for the space in the furnace which is provided similarly with a heater 7, covers the outside circumference of the cover 3 and is freely liftable by the device 10 is provided. The freely movable furnace body is run by said body to anneal continuously the coils F and therefore the annealing of the coils F in giving the prescribed temp. gradient thereto is made possible. |
