PURPOSE:To obtain a good stabilization effect on a photosensitive material by using a stabilizing soln. contg. a specified compd. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive material contg. photosensitive silver halide is developed and remaining unexposed silver halide is converted into a nonphotosensitive compd. with a stabilzing soln. contg. a compd. represented by the formula shown here in which R is 1-10C optionally substd. alkyl or 6-20C optionally substd. phenyl, and M is H, an alkali metal or org. base group. Said compd. is exemplified by 4-acetylamino-3-mercapto-4,1,2-triazole, 4-(n-heptanoylamino)-3- mercapto-4,1,2-triazole, etc. |
