PURPOSE:To produce easily an NC tape from position data by dividing the external form of a processing reference object into continuous arcs and storing each arc as the position data. CONSTITUTION:A processing reference object 2 is put on an XY table 1, and the position of the object 2 is tored in a memory circuit 5 by allowing a point P1 to coincide with its center 22. The points P2-P13 of the object 2 are also stored in the same way, and an NC tape 30 is punched out by a punch part 9. Then the contents of the tape 30 are read out, and the position data on points P1-P3 are calculated 20 to obtain the center and the radius of an arc. The results of this calculation are transferred to an interpolation circuit 21. The circuit 21 produces the command pulses for X and Y axes in such a ratio as to give an arc movement to both axes respectively. The command pulse is led to a motor driving circuit 18 from a changeover switch 6A and applied to a motor 3 after amplification of power. Thus an X axis table is shifted. A Y axis table to also shifted in the same way. An arc movement is given to an XY table 1, and the external from 23 of the object 2 is projected on a projector 8. |
